Born in Massena, NY. Craymo learned Sax while in the third grade. Inspired by tunes he heard on the radio he launched himself into a very interesting career that began in the early 90s and re-emerged recently. On November 4th 2018 he re-released his classic track from the early 90s – Take It Slow (Gotta Say Hey). What do we think about it? Here goes!
The song starts about as much as you’d expect from this track. Synth pads, a beat and vocals basically setting the zone. Then there’s a nice build up. Overall the music is pretty solid for this kind of pop/EDM remixed track. The mix itself is fantastic with crystal clear clarity in terms of the sound. We’re not entirely sure what the music is trying to say other than relax and take it slow. There’s a nice calm down (if you pardon the pun) about two minutes in which has some cool percussion. There’s also a spot or two of little guitar parts in it hidden away that really sets it apart from other such tunes you’d find in this genre. Overall a decent effort from Crymo here, worth a spin! The music video is a good bit of fun to watch as well.
