Review: “Blood N Honey” by Blow Flyy

From Halifax/Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (though currently based in Toronto) comes Canadian artist Blow Flyy. On May 30th 2019 he released his latest track “Blood N Honey(Intro)”. What did we think of it? Here goes!

The track begins with some nice vocal pads for about 15 seconds before Blow_Flyy gets right to it. Some good rhymes here. The mix is okay, though the backing track could do with coming up a little bit. Other than that, it’s a good mix. A little further along this journey and you come along to a nice little piano part, it doesn’t last long however it certainly adds charm to this track. It’s quite a deep track with Blow_Flyy clearly pouring his heart out here with his rhymes and pays tribute to his roots when the line “Cold like a Canadian December”. At times it feels like he’s fitting it a bit too much but it pays off with an impressive result.

We’re very interested to see what happens next for Blow_Flyy!
