Heart Museum is a 5 piece melodic hardcore outfit from Northwest New Mexico, USA – on the Navajo Nation. On June 10th 2016, the band released an EP titled “Bitter”. The EP was released during a very dark time for one of the band members and the message of “Bitter” is about struggle and striving to maintain healthy relationships. Since its release, the titular track alone has been streamed almost thirteen-thousand times on Spotify! We took a listen and here’s what we thought.
The track is a superbly written piece of music. From start to finish, there is a wealth of energy and feeling that you’d be pretty hard-pressed to find elsewhere. Everything about this track from the sound of the drums, to the lead vocals just sits perfectly in the mix. Heart Museum has a story to tell, and wow! It is truly powerful.
Fans both new and old of Melodic Hardcore, Metal and/or Metalcore will truly appreciate “Bitter” not just the track itself but the EP of the same name. With the release of the EP, Heart Museum has proven themselves to be a definitive “one to watch” within and it’s easy to see why this track alone has achieved the plays that it has done.
