We’re just gonna start this off and say this is jazz. Now we’ve made that point – let us move on. The beat is pretty solid, the players on this track are very well locked in. What’s nice is there’s a pretty cool swing groove that goes on every now and again which they all pull off almost effortlessly. What does confuse us somewhat is the choice of having multiple licks by the guitarists and sax player at the same time. On occasion, it works within the composition but other times they’re stepping over each other somewhat and it is incredibly distracting when this occurs.

The choice of elements within the mix is pretty good however and the overall sound is top-notch. This is a solid piece of music with surprisingly few changes to the lyrics in certain sections but for the most part, it works. Vocally, a decent performance and it’s pretty cool the drummer also sings (move over Don Henley). This tune definitely showcases the many talents of Tedi Brunetti. Throughout the mix, there is no space that is wasted and nothing really gets lost, a lot of clarity throughout the runtime. Very decent indeed!
