Meghan Pulles is an “emo-positive” singer-songwriter. On March 26th 2021, she released a brand new track titled “New Horizon”, featuring Craig Sayer. We’ve listened to the tune and here’s our review!
“New Horizon” feels familiar, but despite this it is a very unique sounding track. When it gets going, it really gets going. Every part of this track is believable and a whole lot of fun, it was certainly the quickest three or so minutes we’ve experienced but definitely much to take away from it. Meghan’s vocals work exceptionally well in this track, a few lyrics here and there feels vacuum packed to fit the melody but other than that there’s nothing wrong with this. Keep an ear out for about two minutes in, there’s a little break that really punches through and switches it up a bit before returning to form. You may also notice how tight the drums and bass are locked together, as they should be – this provides a stellar groove in the choruses.
“New Horizon” is an impressively produced, mixed and mastered. It’s big, it’s bold and it might very well be one of our favourite tracks to date. Top stuff!
